Dr. John Konopik completed his undergraduate schooling at University of Nebraska – Omaha where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology. He furthered his education by obtaining a Doctorate of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry.
He has been practicing optometry since 2004, and has been with Crown Vision Center since 2005. Dr. Konopik became an optometrist because it’s a science-related field that was interesting to him.
His favorite part about being an optometrist now is getting to diagnose ocular diseases.

I use a walker and entry doors can be difficult to navigate. As I approached CrownVision, one of th... Show Moree young women ( Jenna) hurried up and held the door open for me. Even though I arrived early for my appointment they had me start the paperwork and the assessments. Dr.Kaponek was thorough, professional and very patient with me. Choosing new frames was fun with the techs offering suggestions. And when I was finished I left feeling good about the whole experience.
